It was the second day of my visit to Southern California and I started off by visiting a high school in the hills of Santa Clarita (look at the view!). The campus of Golden Valley High School was quiet as students settled into their first class of the day, and I had the opportunity to meet with a counselor about what Scout has to offer. She was excited about the prospect of partnering with us and pointed me in the direction of the William S. Hart Union High School District. I made a quick stop there on my way to Granada Hills High.
Just a few miles down the 5 south and I found myself at Granada Hills High. Students were filtering out of their classes to enjoy a short break before heading back to class. I was able to meet with a counselor on campus and share the exciting offerings of Scout. It was a lovely start to another great day of outreach. We look forward to partnering with Santa Clarita schools and Granada Hills High in the future!
